“The scenery around Mount Vesuvius was absolutely beautiful, and it was interesting to get a brief look at the vineyard and their winemaking process. However, the overall tour felt underwhelming. A good portion of the excursion was spent driving around to pick up other passengers before even arriving, which cut into the actual experience. Once there, the vineyard tour was very brief. While the setting was lovely, I had hoped for more depth and engagement about the winemaking process. The lunch was also underwhelming. We began with an antipasti plate featuring a few cheeses, a couple of meats, bruschetta, and roasted vegetables dressed with olive oil and red wine vinegar.…”

“A few comments: there was no wine tasting- actually it was a nice lunch with wine. The Vesuvius tour was without any guide- the guide gave us tickets and met us at the end. It should be noted that the tour included a long walk up the mountain, which was not easy and not suitable for everyone. That said- it was overall enjoyable and interesting.”
